Local production of incense in India

A good friend of mine was travelling in India, where he met a woman who sold incense.
This job could not generate enough money to pay for her two children to go to school!

So, my friend decided to buy the equipment needed to manufacture incense.
They produced incence with natural oil and honey. Being able to work for herself, the children could go to school.

The woman sold the incense on the market and my friend sold some incense in Belgium. 
Each time my friend went back, he gave the profit to the woman, who was able to employ some more people into the project.

After a few years, my friend was satisfied, cause the project doesn't need his help anymore. 
I think this is a good example of a micro project which did make a difference...
